On a sunny Tuesday evening my friend Mimi and I went to appeThaizing for dinner. We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and quickly seated. Our friendly waitress Megan promptly came over, welcomed us to appeThaizing and told us about that night’s specials. We briefly looked over the extensive menu and decided what we were going to order. I decided to start with the appeThaizing Spring Rolls ($6.99). I asked if they could be prepared vegetarian and the Chef was happy to do so. These spring rolls were crispy and flavorful yet extremely light and airy, a perfect start to a nice summertime meal. I also decided to have Tom Yum (Thai Lemon Grass Soup- with Tofu) ($3.99). To say that this soup was fantastic would be an understatement! You could taste all of the different flavors working together to make this culinary masterpiece. You could even taste the perfect amount of lemon grass finishing each spoonful! Mimi decided to go with a favorite, Shrimp Pad Thai ($14.99). She ordered it medium with a side of hot pepper sauce. She did this because we know how spicy Thai peppers can be and after all you can always add more spice but you can’t take it out once it’s in there! When our meal came out Megan also brought out 2 different pepper sauces and they were both spicy and flavorful! Our meal was delicious, fresh and very filling!
We didn’t really save room for dessert but when we were told what was on the menu, we just couldn’t pass it up! They had Banana Fritters, Peanut butter pie, Tiramisu, Green Tea Ice Cream, Mango Sticky Rice, Coconut Gloss. I just couldn’t pass up the banana fritters which were banana pieces rolled in coconut pieces and then deep fried. As if that wasn’t heavenly enough, the dish was served with creamy vanilla ice cream. The warm fritters were perfectly complimented by the cool ice cream, this is a definite must have! Mimi decided she just had to have green tea ice cream (because you can’t buy it at ice cream stands or even at the grocery store!). There were 3 heaping scoops of the green goodness that is green tea ice cream and large dollops of whip cream!

It should be noted that every dish is individually prepared just the way you order it! Dishes are available with whatever degree of heat you like: mild, medium, hot or even extra hot.
